To support young athletes and their families, we've created the JVTA Junior Shooter Program, which provides complimentary dry fire training equipment to active junior USPSA competitors.
Our goal is simple: make high-quality dry fire training tools more accessible so junior shooters can train effectively, improve faster, and enjoy the sport for years to come.
Free Dry Fire Training Equipment for Junior Shooters
Dry fire practice is one of the most effective ways for competitive shooters to improve their skills without the expense of live ammunition. Building safe and consistent training habits early can help junior athletes accelerate their development both on and off the range.
Through the JVTA Junior Shooter Program, eligible participants receive a complimentary training starter pack designed to enhance dry fire practice at home.
What's Included?
Each Junior Shooter Support Pack contains:
- 2 Gen 2 Dry Weight Magazine Inserts
- 1 Pack of 10 Dry Fire Targets
These training tools help junior shooters develop:
- Faster and more consistent reloads
- Better firearm handling skills
- Improved dry fire training routines
- Greater confidence during competition
- More realistic practice sessions
Who Is Eligible?
The JVTA Junior Shooter Program is available to parents or guardians of active USPSA junior competitors.
To ensure support packs are distributed to active members of the competitive shooting community, applicants must provide basic verification of participation.
Acceptable verification may include:
- USPSA membership number for the junior shooter and/or parent or guardian
- PractiScore match history or participation link
- Photo, match results, or other evidence of competitive participation
Limit one support pack per junior shooter.
